True Access lusailFoundations that will guide the proposal, namely, the social and human needs that most of the citizens of Lusail will find in the daily life of the smart city, making life easier and the city smarter:
The proposal aims at placing Lusail Smart City among the top level smart cities in the world by giving a stronger focus on the citizen needs and preferences. Smart City A+ takes the accessibility as a novel key concept of Lusail Smart City, leading to further improve people’s quality of life, as well as the quality of experience in the use of the future smart city services. To date little attention has been paid in other smart cities initiatives regarding the provision of accessibility and personalization as smart dimensions of a smart city. Therefore, this approach shall endow Lusail Smart City with a clear competitive edge with respect to other smart initiatives in the world.

Accessibility emerges as a holistic approach affecting to living conditions of the different application environments of Lusail Smart City, namely, the building and infrastructure management, transport and urban mobility, health and education, ecological ICT, e-Goverment, leisure and entertainment, security and e-commerce.
The driving force behind the approach for an accessible Smart City consists of taking into consideration accessibility factors right at the start of the of smart services in Lusail. Otherwise, the cost of implementing accessibility and personalization capabilities over consolidated developments will be very large. Furthermore, the approach stresses the deployment of common accessibility platforms and technologies to be implemented upon the essential built environment and the existing IT infrastructure while promoting the communication interoperability between all services in the city. It is aimed at providing the citizen with a seamless and ubiquitous personalized interaction with all smart services in Lusail.
